Back end

Kinetic Business Centre rents flexible office space in the UK — desks and suites that scale as a company grows. I built the back end: the content model and the forms behind a design that reads more like a boutique hotel than an office listing.

The brief

Office space is sold on availability, and availability changes weekly. A site where the spaces, the photography and the membership tiers are baked into templates is out of date the month after launch and quietly stops being used.

The design also asked a lot of the model. Every section has a different shape — photo grids, scrolling marquees, review cards, tiered memberships — and each still had to come out of fields rather than markup.

What I built

Back end only. Every section on the page is a field group matched to its layout, so the marketing team changes a space, a photograph, a review or a membership tier without touching a template.

Enquiries run through Gravity Forms into the process the centre already uses, so a viewing request arrives where the team is already looking rather than in a second inbox nobody checks.

Content model

Spaces the team can change

The office photography, the descriptions and the availability all come out of fields. On a product that changes weekly, an editable model is not a nicety — it is the difference between a live site and a brochure.

Content model

Reviews as entries

Client quotes are their own repeatable content rather than markup in a template, so a new testimonial is a paste rather than a deploy.

Membership tiers, editable

What is on offer and at what level is a field group, because pricing and packaging on flexible space move more often than the design does.
